March 10 at Argyle Country Club (14600 Argyle Club Rd) from 7:30-9:15 a.m. $20 for members and first-time prospects; $40 for non-members. Please call the office to RSVP by Monday, March 8. Walk-ins charged an additional $10.
GSSCC to Host Two New Marketing Events
March will be the Chamber's 17th year Anniversary, and we want you to celebrate with us at our
SchmoozaPalooza, a catered event to be held on Wednesday,
March 24 at the Lee Building Atrium (8601 Georgia Ave.) Pre-paid reservations are required.
We will also begin hosting a monthly
Fourth Friday where members can share their products, services, announcements and events with each other over lunch. The next one will be on Friday,
March 26.
GSSCC Inclement Weather Policy GSSCC follows the decision of Montgomery County Public Schools regarding cancellation of member meetings and events (Networking Breakfasts, Business After Hours, committee meetings, etc.) in the event of inclement weather.
If Montgomery County Public Schools are closed for the day, all Chamber events for that day will be cancelled. If schools open two hours late, all morning Chamber events will be cancelled; afternoon and evening events will be held as scheduled. If schools are dismissed early, all GSSCC evening events will be cancelled.
GSSCC Offering Residential Energy Co-op
For the first time, home-based businesses and employees of members in the state of Maryland may join a
Residential Energy Coop. Another commercial energy co-op will be formed in Spring 2010.
